Bayern Munich will host Besiktas on Tuesday in the first leg of a UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie.

Bayern Munich narrowly failed to win its group, with PSG capturing the top spot in Group B. Bayern, however, ended up with the eaiser knockout stage tie, as PSG was drawn against defending champion Real Madrid while Bayern drew Besiktas.

Besiktas is no pushover, having won Group G ahead of Porto, RB Leipzig and Monaco. The club is currently fourth in the Turkish Super Lig. Bayern, meanwhile, sits atop the Bundesliga table.

After winning their group, Besiktas have the unwanted task of going to Germany and facing Bayern Munich. The Istanbul side advanced out of the Champions League group stage for the first time in their history but are fourth in the Turkish Super Lig this season. After a slow start to the season, Bayern have been completely dominant under Jupp Heynckes and are running away with the Bundesliga title. Bayern are 19 points ahead of second-place Borussia Dortmund and have won 10 straight games.

At the Allianz Arena this season, Bayern have won 14 of 15 games, a draw against Wolfsburg the only blemish on an otherwise perfect home record. Robert Lewandowski has loved playing at home this season. The Polish striker has scored in every Bundesliga home game this season and 13 of Bayern’s 15 home games in all competitions. Lewandowski scored his 27th goal of the season over the weekend, in Bayern’s 2-1 win against Wolfsburg. Heynckes decided to rest the majority of his starters against Wolfsburg ahead of the game with Besiktas. Lewandowski, David Alaba, Joshua Kimmich, Jérôme Boateng, Mats Hummels, and Thomas Muller all started on the bench against Wolfsburg, while James Rodriguez and Arturo Vidal were not in the 18 man gameday roster. With a rested roster, Bayern will attempt to end Besiktas’ Champions League run in the first leg.
